GeoBioTec (FCT NOVA)
Over 25y of experience working in different fields of Earth Sciences, Ricardo Pereira holds a PhD from Cardiff University (UK), MSc in Sedimentology and Stratigraphy and a degree in Geology from the University of Lisbon (Portugal).
Main areas of research and O&G industry projects, include the geodynamic evolution of passive margins, tectono-stratigraphy of rift basins and associated salt tectonic controls, and tectono-magmatic interplay, in multiple regions worldwide, such as the West Iberian Margin (Portugal), Santos Basin (Brazil), Oman, and the Kwanza Basin (Angola).
