Martim Chichorro is particularly focused on the history of the Ediacaran-Cambrian basins of northern Gondwana that were later deformed-metamorphosed during the Variscan orogeny and involved on the crustal growth and recycling processes. Recently, Special emphasis has been given to the post-Pan-African/Cadomian Rift-to-Drift processes in North Gondwana.
